Thursday:
Traveling day/Eagle Tree RV Park/Poulspo, Washington
Again...what a drive! It took us around the border of The Olympic National Park by way of Lake Crescent...on to Port Angeles....winding up here at Poulspo. We are actually only a ferry ride away from Seattle. We left Hwy 101 today...we've followed that route since Crescent City, California. It was a delightful route and we will take home wonderful memories of one amazing landscape after another along it's path.
The lake was surrounded by The Olympic Mountains which reflected in the perfectly still, crystal clear mountain water. The road snaked around Lake Crescent in an interesting way, twisting and turning continually.
Many of the photos taken today are obviously from the RV while in motion...and by now our windshield is quite 'be-smeared with bug-guts'....nevertheless the views were so spectacular that I had to try and capture a few of them....you'll have to use your imagination a bit...but trust me...it was worth all the effort of traveling this far to see and...as I've said before...a camera just doesn't do places of this magnitude justice.
Today's photos on the right, under Washington State.
