First Assembly of God/Fairbanks, Alaska
I believe Jesus is alive and well in His church here in Fairbanks, Alaska.  As we have experienced the whole trip, this congregation also welcomed us in and treated us as family as we worshiped the Lord together this morning. 

Chena's Alaskan Grille:  We feasted on beef and Fresh Wildcaught Alaskan Salmon on the terrace overlooking the constant boat traffic along the Chena River.  Fun thought...they tell us this river functions as a dog sled 'highway' during the winter.

Pioneer Park:  As well as exploring a bit of the bike path around town the other day, we rode our bikes around Pioneer Park this afternoon. They moved the original log buildings from downtown Fairbanks and turned them into a historical village format.  They now serve as shops and house historical displays.  There were museums and a big paddle boat to board and view a display of miniature old time towns in Alaska.  In addition, there's a merry-go-round for the kids and the usual food shacks...it was a nice place to spend Sunday afternoon...surrounded by Dads enjoying time with their families.

The weather is just amazing now...sunny and in the mid 70s.  There are the occasional pickle showers...so you can imagine how the produce is growing with unending sunshine all through the night!
