Thursday:
Golden Nugget RV Park/Anchorage/Alaska
The drive today looked about like a highway in any of the lower 48 states...busy and smooth.  That was a change of pace from the frost heaves we've become accustomed to!  We arrived here around noon and picked up some groceries.  Tonight we did a little shopping locally....I shopped at Kohls and he headed for Lowes.

We read the count is about 1000 moose and 250 black bears inhabiting Anchorage...they say you are more likely to spot moose here than in Denali National Park.  I noticed on a sign coming into the city, the number of moose killed by cars there....455 was the count.  In my book...that much wild life makes this a unique city right there, so we'll see what tomorrow brings as we look around Alaska's largest city.
