Traveling On ... 2012

Tuesday/FYI: Home/New Knoxville/Ohio
We've spent most of the afternoon unpacking and gearing the house back up after it's been sitting idle for months and months. Except for having no gas hook-up (gas company's bad, not ours) everything seems to be working well.
Today marked the actual end of our journey to Alaska and back....and the final posting of Traveling on.....2012. Safe and happy trails to you all....wherever your journey leads you.

WELCOME!

This blog is an attempt to journal the highlights of our road trip across America. Stan and I want to include visits with our kids in the process and explore new territory, particularly Alaska!

So far....we left Ohio on October 14, 2011, traveling first to Virginia and on to our winter home at Torrey Oaks, in Wauchula, FL where we enjoyed the great weather, friendly people and day trips for two months.

Now we are leaving central Florida behind and gradually moving west, to visit with Anja and Greg in Carlsbad and then on up the West Coast stopping in to see our son, Ryan, in Seattle. We hope to travel through Canada after that and then spend the summer in Alaska, after which we will aim back to Ohio in the Autumn.

A huge thanks to my hero, Stan, who set this up for me to use!!!
