Friday:
TRAVEL DAY
It rained all day, with temps in the 50s.  Basically a standard travel day, except an accident occurred ahead of us on an 18 mile stretch of bridges over the alligator infested bayou.  Once past that, we made good time.
   
The garlic you smell?  We chose Italian tonight for our 44th Anniversary Celebration Meal.  I consider myself very blessed to have had so many happy years with such a remarkable person as Stan...he's the best!  We also plan to spend tomorrow here in Beaumont, Texas. We think this may be an interesting place for a little sightseeing.
