Traveling Day/Forks 101 RV Park/Fork,Washington
We traveled another link of Hwy 101 today, and after lunch, we took off for Olympic National Park not too far from here. Hoh Rain Forest (annual rainfall 141 to 165 inches) is found within the Olympic National Park. We enjoyed another scenic drive along the river and took advantage of one of the walkpaths near a ranger station. Admittedly this wasn't off the charts, but a very easy to get to and pleasant destination, nonetheless. The weather was perfect...they were telling us of hard rains and hail last week, but you wouldn't have known it today! We met some interesting fellow travelers, one from Alaska, so we asked as many questions of him and we could think of in a few minutes.
We checked out a really nice local Pizza place tonight...we're impressed with the quality of the stores and businesses around here. Tomorrow...more site seeing.
