Saturday:
Traveling day/Lynden KOA/Lynden,Washington
We had an easy drive north again today and now are relaxing and enjoying a particularly beautiful RV park here in Lynden, Washington. The weather is perfect and we are surrounded by a lot of families enjoying their weekend to the max. We will be grilling hamburgers and taking it easy for the rest of the day.

This blog is an attempt to journal the highlights of our road trip across America. Stan and I want to include visits with our kids in the process and explore new territory, particularly Alaska!

So far....we left Ohio on October 14, 2011, traveling first to Virginia and on to our winter home at Torrey Oaks, in Wauchula, FL where we enjoyed the great weather, friendly people and day trips for two months.

Now we are leaving central Florida behind and gradually moving west, to visit with Anja and Greg in Carlsbad and then on up the West Coast stopping in to see our son, Ryan, in Seattle. We hope to travel through Canada after that and then spend the summer in Alaska, after which we will aim back to Ohio in the Autumn.

A huge thanks to my hero, Stan, who set this up for me to use!!!
