Tuesday:
Visited the Space Needle/Drove around Seattle
It was another drizzly day here. I am told we have one more day of rain before the sun pops out again...and even though there are blooming flowers everywhere already...I imagine this dampness will trigger a new wave of blazing colors by this weekend.
We went to see the Space Needle and found in the process that Seattle evidently enjoys it's artwork. Case in point...The Emp Museum (over the top crazy building!) was nearby and there was also Chihuly Garden and Glass www.chihulygardenandglass.com going on at The Seattle Center...Chihuly's work is a favorite of mine!!! see photos.
Since it wasn't comfortable to be outside for a prolonged amount of time, we really didn't explore the area as thoroughly as we would have liked. But even though the damp air was a deterrent, we liked what we saw, and I found lots to photograph. If Seattle was this entertaining under a grey sky...I think it would be amazing in brilliant sunlight.
