Bear Paw RV Park/Valdez/Alaska
More rough roads (frost heaves again causing slow traveling progress) in addition to the second day of avoiding a plethora of racing bikers and you have two tired but happy campers here. 

Bear Paw RV Park looks to be a good choice, positioned right in the middle of the small town of Valdez.  Our drive in today proved this part of Alaska has lived up to it's reputation for grandiose and awesome panoramas. 
 
P.S.  There are rumors of a mama bear with four (that's right....4!) bear cubs feeding where the locals fish along the Chena River just outside of town.  She's been viewed there recently...as recently as yesterday...and she put on quite a show they say minding her little family.  Sure would enjoy seeing her with her cubs...from a distance of course!!
