Tuesday:
Glacier National Park/Highway-to-the-Sun/Montana
We began the drive at 9:00 this morning and returned back 'home' around 6:30...lots of driving....lots of amazing scenic overviews.....and therefore lots of photos!  We were the 5th car behind a motorcycle accident, which detained us about an hour.  Then there was single lane driving because of road work in the high elevations so it wasn't all driving non-stop. The park was just packed with people!!!  The weather was ideal and therefore the landscapes were just dramatic.  I think the scenery ranked in the top ten we've seen all year.  Later this afternoon, we were fortunate enough to watch a black bear leisurely cross the road in front of us and a huge grizzly mom (from a good distance) nibbling vegetation, while her cub practiced his climbing skills.  Then there was an eagle on the wing in the distance and a herd of free range cows meandering out along (and on!) the road.
