Tuesday:
Homer Spit Campground/Homer/Alaska
It was rainy and cold so we just hopped in the Jeep and did some shopping, since there is a plethora of shopping going on around here!  I checked out my normal quota of art galleries and Stan, as usual, is looking for a hard to find piece of hardware for the RV.  We ate at Subway for lunch and a local family style restaurant for the evening meal.  Stan looks for lots of cars in the parking lot indicating a high rating...ha.

My 'tourist highlight' today was when we were driving along the spit and you could see dozens and dozens of Sea Otters, all rolled over on their backs floating all around...such an endearing sight....they are so cute!  Also, more eagles were seen.  Although they and the gulls were plentiful yesterday...playing in the strong winds...today we thought they were more sparse.
