Wednesday:
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!! from Homer Spit Campground/Homer/Alaska
We have relaxed and enjoyed our 4th with some shopping, driving some more of this area's back roads, spotting lots more eagles on the spit and dining out at a local bakery/cafe.  We both ordered a bowl of halibut/salmon soup, with bakery sourdough bread and some of their (all American) apple pie for dessert, of course!  There was a local parade uptown but we talked ourselves out of it because of the drizzly and chilly weather. 

We hope you are enjoying baseball...hot dogs....apple pie...Chevrolet and some cooler temps soon!
