Downtown RV Park/Watson Lake/Yukon/Canada
It was a great traveling day. We began by stopping for brunch at a restaurant outside Teslin that came highly recommended. Then we basically drove the 162 miles without interruption. The sun is shining here and the temps are pleasant and to top it all off, the roads were normal with only the wash out area (happened back in June…it’s rough but passable now) to pick through slowly….no road work in site! The scenery was pleasant….mostly pine forest dotted with lakes all along the way. To top it all off, we spotted a grizzly along the road and a black bear. They tell us tomorrow’s drive will be full of wildlife…we’ll look forward to that.
